Plan of attack to combat post-holiday excesses

Happy to be able to write about this product which is simply wonderful: Lean Protein.

Yes, and you will say "more of the same, all proteins are the same..." nooo! It's not like that at all. More than 80 years in the market have resulted in a wide range of products designed and conceived for each and every need.

And the fact is that Lean Protein, is a product designed to supplement your daily diet especially in the case of a diet for the weight loss.

When we restrict calorie expenditure, it is very common to have carbohydrate cravings or energy slumps. No matter how correct your diet is, this effect usually comes sooner or later. And that's because (unfortunately) we have got our body used to too much sugar. We become "addicted" to sugar. Lean Protein has ingredients in its composition that modulate glucose absorption and metabolism, preventing cravings and energy crashes.

The assimilation of this protein is let's say medium, to have a greater satiety effect, it is made from milk protein, whey and pea protein, L-Carnitine and green tea, among other ingredients.

How to take it:

  • I recommend it to mid-morning or mid-afternoon (contains a minimum of caffeine, just the right amount to have a metabolism-boosting effect but not to make you sleepy).
  • Also as part of the breakfast. You can have a lean protein shake for breakfast + 2 slices of toast with serrano ham + 1 kiwi and you'll be on top of your game all morning.
  • Also ideal as a smoothie post-training. Top quality protein for muscle recovery after exercise.

You can prepare it with water, that's the way I recommend. But if you are not so strict with your definition plan and you want to add more creaminess, you can prepare it with skimmed milk or vegetable drink without added sugars.

Also, this protein solves very well when you have complicated shifts and you can't eat at your own time (I say this from my experience!) In my job, with clients, I can't stop to eat until I finish, and of course we all know that you should eat every 3-4 hours, so what I'm doing is taking a dose of lean protein to work, mixing it with water and that's it! It totally quenches my hunger in an instant and I continue my day with energy until the end.
