As tradition dictates, Christmas ends with a good roscón de reyes. But today we offer you a fitter version with less sugar and fat.
Every 6 January we can't miss that sweet bun with the scent of orange blossom that we call Roscón de Reyes. But if you have already started with your goals this year to lose weight, take better care of yourself or eat better, we bring you an option of Roscón de Reyes fit so that you don't have to do without it or skip healthy food.
The dough for our fit roscón is made with wholemeal oat flour. Gourmet Oat Flourneutral flavour. Our well-known oat flour with complex carbohydrates and low in sugars. To this dough we have added the necessary touches to get that characteristic flavour such as orange blossom, orange and lemon zest and ginger.
But the real key to achieving a fit roscón de reyes is in the topping, which is where we find all that unnecessary sugar for our body. For this we have used organic coconut syrup. Organic Coconut Syrup. This natural 100 % syrup is ideal for sweetening thanks to its low glycaemic index. In addition to the syrup we have added slivered almonds and dried fruits.
