MgB6 from Victory Endurance is a product of Magnesium and Vitamin B6, combined in the right doses for greater effectiveness. It is recommended for all types of athletes, both strength and endurance athletes, especially the latter, as their magnesium levels can decrease due to the great physical wear and tear that these disciplines require.
Its ingredients act in the following way:
Magnesium is essential for muscle function, as it acts as a cofactor for many cellular enzymes. It participates, together with calcium, in muscle contraction/relaxation mechanisms and in blood coagulation (calcium promotes them and magnesium inhibits them). Mg supplementation is essential for athletes in general and endurance athletes in particular, as they lose more Mg through sweating and physical exertion, which can lead to muscle cramps, which increase with the loss of potassium and other mineral salts (electrolytes). In addition, MgB6 capsules are made with magnesium citrate, which has been shown to be the most easily absorbed and assimilated by the muscles*.
Vitamin B6 is involved in the metabolism of proteins and fatty acids as it forms part of several enzymes, and is also involved in the formation of haemoglobin and myoglobin, thereby increasing aerobic endurance. Its use with magnesium is essential because it improves digestive absorption and fixation of magnesium in the cell. It also helps our body to prevent magnesium losses, which are so common among sportsmen and women.
